For full-colour or photo-style artwork, choose digital print (DTG). For crisp logos and text, choose heat seal. For texture, choose puff, embroidery or emboss. You pick the finish for each design in the design studio, under Select Treatment Type.

Digital print (DTG) — Best for: Photos, gradients, many colours; Good to know: Soft feel. Very fine lines and some colours can bleed slightly, so use heat seal for tiny text; From (1–5 pieces, per design): A$6.70
Heat seal (regular, raised glossy, raised dull) — Best for: Logos, text, bold colours; Good to know: Sharp edges and bright colour. The default on activewear; From (1–5 pieces, per design): A$15.38
Puff heat seal — Best for: Raised, 3D-looking logos and text; Good to know: Can do gradients. One flat price whatever the size or position; From (1–5 pieces, per design): A$15.38
Reflective heat seal — Best for: Safety and night detail; Good to know: Always silver; one colour, no shading or thin lines; can't cross seams; From (1–5 pieces, per design): A$15.38
Embroidery (standard, 3D, chain stitch, flocking) — Best for: Premium logos and lettering; Good to know: No gradients or shading; very thin lines may be rejected; see below; From (1–5 pieces, per design): A$15.38
Emboss — Best for: Subtle, raised logo in the fabric; Good to know: Always the garment's colour (blind emboss); about 0.4–0.6 cm deep; From (1–5 pieces, per design): A$15.38
Screen print (water-based, plastisol, glow in the dark) — Best for: Larger runs of the same design; Good to know: A one-off screen charge of A$131 is added per screen-printed design, so it suits larger quantities; From (1–5 pieces, per design): A$9.00
Prices per piece drop as quantities go up. Your total updates in the studio as you add finishes.
Details
Combining finishes: you can, for example print with emboss, or embroidery on top of a digital print. Several methods on one garment can add production time.
Coloured emboss or foil: ask on live chat; we can add a coloured layer or foil on top of an emboss.
Gold foil and gold thread: available on request; message us with your design.
Activewear: designs are heat sealed by default; all-over prints are digital.
Production time: puff, flocking, emboss and reflective can need extra set-up and take a little longer.
What we can't do
Gradients or shading in embroidery or reflective.
Reflective or other heat seals across seams.
